Turkey
Why Turkey?

More that 20,000 Britons hae so far brought homes in Turkey, drawn by the country’s warm summer months, mild winters, the magnificent beaches and a flavour of the Meditterranean.
There are increasingly more flights to the resorts of Bodrum, Fethiye and Antalya. In fact, British Airways have recently begun flying into Antalya and EasyJet have routes now flying into Istanbul and Dalaman. Flights are available throughout the winter months too.
Turkey has a low cost of living – eating out and utilities are much cheaper than the UK and many other countries. Their economy has been soaring by 6 per cent, per year, since 2002; one of the highest sustained rates of growth in the world.
The house prices in Turkey are increasing steadily. They have been rising on average between 10 – 30 per cent per year and there has been no sign of a slowdown. In fact many experts are predicting a boom as Turkey has applied to join the EU and when other countries have done so house prices have escalated rapidly.
Whether you’re looking to buy to simply improve your lifestyle or for investment purposes, or even a combination of both, Scott Pinkham international has a wealth of knowledge and will do our best to point you in the right direction. If you are thinking of renting out your new home, the rental market in Turkey is definately gathering pace and rooms are generally rented out for up to £150 per week e.g a five bedroom villa for circa £750 per week.
For those looking for value for money we have apartments on offer from just under £30,000, to private villas with pool and garden for less that £120,000. We also have a large selection of luxury homes and can even offer the service of tailor-made properties.

Fethiye

Fethiye is a very popular resort and has a busy working marina and harbour. It is a very ancient town, originally occupied by the Lycians, whose impact can still be seen today through the rock tombs hewn out of the cliffs, some 6,000 years ago.
Walk up the hill and you will see the old fortress, built during the Crusades, overlooking the town and the marina. Drive around and you will see forests and impressive mountain scenery, providing a backdrop to the town.
Well situated, Fethiye is a central area for a number of other, quite contrasting towns.
Calis Beach

Calis Beach is the well-known main beach area adjoining Fethiye. It has a typical beach and promenade style with bars and restaurants backing on to a long, clear beach.
Hisaronu

Hisaronu has become a magnet for nightlife enthusiasts, with a myriad of restaurants and bars providing entertainment into the early hours.
Olu Deniz

Olu Deniz and its Blue Lagoon is a must for beach lovers, paragliders and sun-worshippers alike, with its vast stretch of sandy beach and beautiful scenery.
Uzumlu

Uzumlu has a style of its own, as a traditional village inland and surrounded by mountains. Here, spring water flows readily to supply the town with water. Cooler than on the coast, and with a relaxed feel, it is ideal for those lazy days.
Kayakoy

Kayakoy, meaning 'Rock Village' is known as a Ghost town, a deserted place inland of stone houses built onto the surrounding hillside. Set in a very peaceful area, it has a strange but attractive feel to it. For the more energetic, a walk up the hillside and through the old walkways provides an interesting insight to the old town. There are nice restaurants available for a very relaxed dinner overlooking the stone houses..
