The resort's sandy beaches are among the most popular of the entire Spanish coast. They consistently win the European Blue Flag for cleanliness and provide excellent services and facilities. With around 340 days of sunshine a year and an average temperatiure of 20 degrees, the beach is the place to be!
La Zenia
10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja is the resort of La Zenia, with beautiful sandy coves and blue flag beaches. Offering a good range of facilities with its many shops, bars and restaurants - and the famous 'Paddy's Point' pub! La Zenia is golfers dream with three Championship golf courses in short driving distance. A popular location for those wishing a new life in the sun or simply a holiday retreat in sunnier climes!
Villamartin
Only 45 minutes drive south of Alicante airport and only 20 minutes north of Murcia (San Javier) airport and 3 kms to the seafront. The area is famous for the Plaza and the renowned golf course within 2 minutes and Las Ramblas and Campoamor. Properties consist of apartments, townhouses and luxury villas, all situated on and close to the golf, and there are numerous facilities, shops and restaurants.
Over the years Ciudad Quesada has developed into an award-winning urbanisation, finally getting its own town hall, making it a town in its own right. The urbanisation is located on south facing slopes with commanding views over the salt lakes of Torrevieja, one an actual working salt lake, considered to be the most important in Europe, the other being a nature reserve. Beyond them the Meditteranean Sea glistens on the horizon. Further views take in the mountains and inland plains, covered with orange and lemon groves, filling the air with a delicate aroma. La Marina & Guardamar Overlooking the river Segura, this ancient town is built on a hillside. Between the main town and the white sandy beaches lies the famous Sofia Park, with an abundance of beautiful plants and pine trees. Guardamar is famous for its dunes, with miles of clean golden sand and some lovely restaurants, as well as cool, typical Spanish bars. Pilar de la Horadada With a coastline more than 4km of white sandy beaches, about half an hours drive from Torrevieja, is the tranquil, laid back small town of Pilar de la Horadada.
Ciudad Quesada 
Amongst the many facilities are an Aqua Park, Golf Course and Social Club with restaurant, live entertainment, bowls and swimming facilities. There are numerous bars, restaurants, shops including newsagents, supermarkets, hairdressers, banks with exchange facilities and medical centre. Ciudad Quesada is a secluded paradise, yet close enough to three towns, Torrevieja, Guadamar del Segura & Rojales.
There are many outstanding golf courses in the area including Royal Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin where they have, in the past, held the Spanish Open, as well as La Marquesa, which is part of the Ciudad Quesada urbanisation.
Pilar de la Horadada offers a relaxed way of life to its residents and is well known for its fantastic cuisine, with a plentiful supply of fruit and vegetables grown locally.
